What can I expect on this retreat?

You can expect to learn yoga and tantra in it’s totality, how to incorporate the age old wisdom of yoga and tantra in your daily day to day life, our approach is make people know that yoga is not limited to the practice of Asana (physical postures) only, and it dose not start and finish on your yoga mat. The retreat will be lead by Gyanmitra Saraswati a senior and experienced teacher from the tradition of Bihar School of Yoga / Satyananda Yoga.

Do I need previous yoga experience?

We welcome yogis of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practioners. Yoga retreats are not just for the yogi who practices every day and can do advance asanas (physical postures). Our retreats offer opportunities for growth and new experience, no matter how much time you have spent on your mat. It is suggest to keep an open mind and try out practices that might be new to you.

Can I go on a Retreat by myself?

Yes! About half our participants come alone and often come away with lifelong friends. If you’re traveling alone, a yoga retreat is the best way to meet new people with similar interests in a safe and healthy environment.

How many people will be on the retreats?

Our group sizes depend on the venue where it will be hosted. In Mallorca we are hosting our retreat big private houses which can occupy a maximum of 25 participants if all the people are sharing, on single occupancy the group size may be restricted to just 12 people only, we believe in small groups so that the interaction between the students and teacher is more intimate and personal.

What kind of food can I expect?

We will provide almost all of the meals during your retreat , as described in the schedule. Food is a very important part of our retreats as we belive in the dictom ‘we are what we eat’ ,we always enjoy delicious food on our retreats and strive to include locally produced organic, fresh ingredients only. Please let us know before if you have any special needs; food allergies or other allergies, or any other special needs or conditions, dietary or medical. We would most likely be able to accommodate it.

What should I bring?

Since you are coming for a yoga retreat you should generally bring: yoga mat (for hygiene purpose) if you are unable to bring your own mat we could provide you one, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, book, journal, reusable water bottle, and a little sense of adventure!

How much free time do we have?

Our retreats include a healthy balance between group activities and solo free time to relax, read a book, take a walk, etc. The days that we have outings planned we will go lighter on the yoga and we generally build in time for participants to go off on their own or simply stay at our retreat center.

What’s Included?

The price of the retreat includes all lodging, all meals. All yoga classes are included. Transportation from the airport and any other transportation which you may require is not included. We will always assist you to get it organized.

When should I book?

We recommend you to book as early as possible as the number of participants are limited you may not want to be left out. The booking to the retreat is mostly closed one month before the start date.

Do I need to book my own flight?

You are responsible for booking your own flight. For the retreats in Mallorca the flights needs to be booked for Palma De Mallorca PMI is the code for the airport, Mallorca being one of the major tourist destinations there are many flights available. Please write to us for any assistance in this regard.

How do I get from the airport to the retreat center?

You are responsible for your own airport transfer unless stated otherwise. You can always request support booking your transfer and we can assist you to pair up with other people arriving in the same time to share in the cost.

What is the currency and where do I get it? How much cash will I need?

Mallorca is part of the European Union and Euro is the currency, once the deposit is made to our account we request you to bring the rest of the retreat fees in cash in Euros. If you choose to go on any optional excursions you will be responsible for the costs but we will definitely help you arrange anything.

Can I arrive early and stay late?

You will need to purchase your flights in order to arrive/depart by given dates and time ranges for your specific retreat . If you choose to arrive earlier or later than given day/time you will be responsible for the cost of transportation needed to join up with the group. We always encourage you to explore the local area, if that option is available to you. For staying at the retreat in case you are arriving early or wanting to depart later it has to be pre-arranged and paid for separately.

Is travel insurance mandatory? How do I purchase it?

Please refer to specific travel advisory of your own country of origin to look into this matter.

What is the cancellation policy for the retreat?

You are requested to make a 30% deposit of the retreat amount depending upon the kind of accommodation you have selected. If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date any payments made will be refunded minus your deposit. If cancellation takes place between 30-60 days prior to your departure, 50% of the retreat price will be refunded. If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the deposit any other payment made for the retreat price will be forfeited.

Do you have discounts available?

We offer a limited number of early-bird prices and students/teachers/artist rates to make our retreats as accessible as possible. Please do write to us if you think you may need any discount.

Payment plan

Please contact us directly if you are interested in payment plan. We want to make our retreats accessible to as many people as possible and are open to setting up a payment plan if it is required by you.
